    I have a main character, and four alts.

    I only farm on my main, and do whatever I can in events on my alts.

    I don't focus on my alts as much as I do my main.

    I do the same, all on my main character, while my alts get the account-wide items and event items. I have limited time so i can't do things all over again for the alt. I created my alt so I can have a one-man FC that my main char can take over in the event Things get bad with my current FC, which so far is still doing good.

    I guess then that it depends on what purpose you made your alt for and how much time you got to play.
