For maximum effectiveness, pop all your buffs, then do a ready check.

Please do NOT forget that Living Dead/Hallowed Ground/Holmgang are also cooldowns!
This is particularly important for PLD, though: for absolute maximum effectiveness make sure you pop HG along with literally every other CD you have available at the moment, just for EXTRA safety!

You should have approximately zero cooldowns ready for the next pull - oh, wait, you do have one! SPRINT! That counts, right?

I see a couple of DRKs pop Living Dead at random while at full hp mid fight. I assume it is to assert dominance over the enemies.

Ive seen this done with HG and it actually doesn't bother me too much, rather I find it helpful in VERY large pulls (for example it was a thing frequently done in Gubal HM after 2nd boss) - tank pulls everything, and as soon as enmity is established and HP starts going down tank HGs, and that gives me enough time to set up enhaced regens and shields in and throw in deeps before HG disappears. After that tank still has enough cooldowns to manage still living mobs...

This I don't mind, but popping it with literally every other available cooldown? Lol.

Tanks seem to either not use any CDs or use them when they won't be mitigating ANYTHING (i.e while running before a pull), tanks using cooldowns in thought out way are a rare thing to behold, so count your blessings when you see one!

As a DK I sometimes do it when I'm worried I may have pulled too much for my team to deal with and my hp is going down fast. Other times I just derp and accidentally press it because I have it on a key that's extremely easy to reach for just in case I need to do it asap.

HUGE fan of Aurum Vale. I love it when I get it as a daily. The general consensus is that it's hell on earth, but I find it fun. Nowadays it's usually with a team of new players too, and it's cool helping them through it.

Sounds very much like a old school meta complaint.

    Nothing new. Carry on.
