Tanks, please use buffs

Look.. I am going to be brutally honest. If you don't use mitigation skills while running dungeons, you're bad.

If you want to do single pulls, use buffs so the healer doesn't have to spot heal you and a regen will suffice..
If you want to do big pulls, then use buffs so the healer can still nuke.

Even if you're doing baby pulls - USE THEM.

It is so simple to press 1 button every 10-20 seconds to rotate your large list of mitigation skills, and takes the job of healing you from completely horrible and tiresome to easy.. It's frankly lazy and bad play if you don't.

Also, if you're unsure what I am talking about - spend the short 5 mins of your life it takes to watch the following video.

I see this a lot, usually WAR for some reason. The best I can think is they are used to being unkillable monsters and still play like it for some reason. PLD tend to be better since they have damage reduction on their rotation and DRK are hit or miss.

Rotate your buffs- don't just blow them all at once!

Word of advice, everyone has their own play style and it should be common sense to most, however some tanks, rarely, are pretty decently geared depending on dungeon and unless the healer has a problem, or enmity is constantly lost should be called out. Specially if a team wipes. Gauge your tank however, some are total trolls and leave so be ready for some salty players out there. ALL TANKS SHOULD USE CD's, learning when is part of learning though most really, really lack common sense. Try to give tips if your a mentor just remember, you can't give advice if you don't have that job at a respectable level or maxed out.

Sorry but the "different playstyle" argument is just not an excuse for not rotating CDs.

This thread was actually triggered by doing a DR:Exp, with a DRK who was a mentor.
I also did say something as we hit the 1st boss.

That didn't change anything. They still didn't use buffs (except for Anticipation).

I know we should always use our cds, but, maybe I got so much into the pull everything mentality by the end of HW that nowadays whenever I pull 2 or 3 mobs, it seems like its such a small amount of mobs, that sometimes my bain considers it to be a waste of a cd and I end up forgeting about it xD i KNOW its wrong and not a waste but it happens =/

In some cases people bite the bullet, unless you want to waste time kicking, waiting, or run the risk of getting kicked specially near the end. So unless you want to start your group with a tank you trust , your going to have to deal with random :/ sucks I know. y contacts usually give me a call and I tank for them if I'm free just to get most things done for the day at a minimum, if you have a FC they should be able to help...hopefully.

Well I mean I am not about to ragequit the duty or votekick for it. I am just calling it out as horrible play, and those that don't use buffs should learn to use them.
They just won't get my comm. Same situation if the healer doesn't nuke or the DPS use single target rotations on AoE pulls.

I am not new to DF queues or anything (lol).

Well I mean I played a WAR "main" through the entirety of HW as well..
I am not going to jump down your throat if you "forget" during the odd pull or anything.. But if you pop Rampart only twice during the whole dungeon... Yeah you won't get my comm.
