That's what I'm not sure about. It seems like you need to do an actual 90+ day sub. The wording isnt very good.

It says "Purchase FFXIV: Stormblood and subscribe for at least 90 days play time", which to me means you need to do the 90 or 180 day subscription and have the sub payment occur during the event time (July 1st - Sept 30th) to be eligible.

In one of the examples it gives it specifically states "You can purchase a 90 day sub on Sept 30th and be eligible to receive the mount on Oct 5th".

Thank you, yeah wording does seem a little ambiguous, guess I'll find out, can always purchase a 90 day sub I suppose
