    [Suggestion] Make Invigorate half enmity

    As the subject states, I think SE should make invig similar to lucid dreaming, where when you use it it halves enmity. They both give resource, they are both 120s cd, why not add the enmity reduction so that classes like Monks and Samurais don't give tanks headaches!

    Is there any danger of doing so? Please comment

    As a tank, no thanks. My job is already mind numbingly easy thanks to the changes made in 4.05, I'm already spamming my DPS combo and ignoring my enmity combo, I'm already switching into sword oath on a regular basis. I would only be ok with this if something else changed that made keeping hate harder, and I don't think the devs will do that.

    When people are baffled why tanks speed pull in dungeons, this is why.

    I have to agree with Khuja. If anything, I would prefer enmity be a more interesting mechanic to maintain so my role as a tank wasn't "get this stance off as fast as I can so I DPS more."

    I wouldn't really have a problem with it, if only because Melee DPS barring Dragoon currently have no means of halving their own aggro while Casters, Healers and Ranged all can. It's also consistent with Lucid Dreaming, Refresh, and Tactitian all being aggro cuts on top of resource regenerators.

    There's diversion though. Players just need to be a bit more pro active and use that to reduce enmity before it's generated.

    Get rid of diversion though and stick them on the same ability, as I thought we were getting rid of button bloat.

    More tools for DPS to manage their aggro is only a good thing, so sure.

    I think this is fair. It is weird how melee can't cut their enmity in half like magical and range.

    In most situations, enmity reducing abilities like Diversion are more useful than the enmity halving ones. For DPS roles, anyway.

    Typically, the only times that DPS should be at risk of getting aggro would be in their openers, or when adds spawn. You dont have any aggro to cut in half until you've actually hit an enemy, and reducing your enmity output helps prevent you getting ahead of the tank in those first few attacks.

    After a certain duration, the tanks can build up a huge enmity lead via Shirk passing, so there shouldn't be any risk of the DPS catching up mid fight. (Although O4S has those annoying aggro resetting mechanics, but it tends to be healer aggro that they need to watch out for more than anything!)

    Like Samurai i will love another skill for agro management.

    Im i340, and i use Diversion at the begining of the fight, but like everyone know, Diversion has 2 mins CD, so if tanks have low gear, i usually get agro from boss....It sounds really good.
