I like Yokai watch but this event looks like it took 2 minutes to think of.
Just let them grind FATE's, bro. Easy done. The first cutscene being a reference to the anime and the games is the only little bit of thought put into it.
FATEs are boring.
As one of my FC mates said, 22 FATES, 2 medals. Just a boring grind fest really.
I'm just glad they did not add Yo-Kai rewards into Mog Station. Bringing back the event and rewards is much better.
It was grindy as hell. I'd feel awful if all the work I've done could just be bought with cash one year later.
complains are part of the event, like the last time
Yokai event without complains would mean the quest got changed

The Yo-kai event was horribly reviled at it's first go for how difficult and grindy it was. It spawned arguments on why players felt obligated to do such a huge, time-sink of content for limited rewards that really served no long standing purpose.
Anything so unfun to do that it makes a chunk of the fanbase ask why we're bothering can't be seen as anything but a bit exploitative and bad game-design.
The argument most of us who put in effort did so out of a sake of completion and the urgency of it being limited, so we feel understandably slighted.
Even worse, is this turned more players OFF Yo-Kai Watch than it drummed any interest. We were all quickly sick and tired of it, and the designs look awful next to Eorzean content.
