Less of of a bandaid and more of a muzzle. SE claims that 'muzzle' is effective. People here are disputing it, but at the same time proving it true. (See the 'I got warned for spamming quickchat' complaint. )

People are tolerating the muzzle more than the howling dogs. Excessive uae of quickchat can be reported and responded to. I'd argue they refine and improve the current system than ditch it.

As far as addressing the cheating. I agree they should do more even knowing the logistics nightmare it is.

Problem is they I realize don't have the team for investigating ranked right now, but that begs the question as to why we have a solo ranked option if they can't handle policing a solo ranked option across multiple data centers.

The vicious circle of it all is, the longer they ban chat, the worse things will get, I can't tell that new scholar that physik spamming wont keep us alive. That causes more frustration than anything, which is part of why things are getting more toxic just by it being banned.

I played when the chat was up. League is far far worse when it comes to the amount of toxic players, yet that's also one of the most popular pvp games right now.

People should be getting taken off the board / kicked out the season, not getting put in a jail for a little bit.
