I've been hording mine until I actually want to use the pieces since a stack of tokens takes up less inventory space.

Shouldn't they fit in the Armoire? Or re-salvageable? (didn't purchase, genuinely don't know, but would hope gear like this could use those features...)

For some reasons they don't. One would figured premium items like these should go in there day 1, but nope.

No, and the Moogle outfit from the last Fanfest still doesn't fit in the Armoire, so at this point I have to assume it never will.

who does evryitem need to be for both genders ? is there not enuff femine gear for males or masculine gear for females ?
