Just done a lookup on the character, and his only class is a lvl 5 ACN in starter gear (odd seeing as the class quest will give a grimore and normal leveling quests give gear, I assume an alt to trade to another character, I can't see why a lvl 5 character would take shards. Get him reported for this, SE can trace trades if needed, but also check players on the Lodestone and ask about anything that seems odd at first. Maybe make a Linkshell for new people and eventually allow them into the FC.

All a legitimate Lvl 5 character would need is a Linkshell to get help with content and get advice, not a full FC.

This thread gave me a heart attack cause I instantly thought I was being framed for something I did not do until I saw the date it was posted. I roleplay as a female Veigar from league of legends under the name of Veig(E)r Primordial and I came from Exodus a long while back. Jesus all I wanted was to make a character card by looking up my lodestone for her, not freak out thinking I was being framed! XD
But now I understand why and who took the original Veigar name in exodus when I first tried to make my character, Sad to see someone is tarnishing a good name...

Also, you should totally have the name removed from the title. I really don't want someone mistaking my baby with that person, especially since its literally a one letter difference.

Forum rules aside, I'm all for outing the thief. They get away with it thinking people won't speak up. Get the word out; show them that kind of behavior isn't welcome in your community.

I had that happen once. We took to the streets and made sure people knew in every city. Call it harrassment if you will, but I'm not gonna roll over and let someone get away with exploiting the good faith of other players.

In fairness however, the forum rules do state against this. I've screen shot it and got the info (in case of a sudden new arrival on my server), but for what it's worth, I commend you for taking the stand and doing what's right, even if the rules say otherwise.
