Please scale the difficulty of Royal Menagerie

Ummmm that's only because of item level scaling. Back when it was new like royal menagerie, it was way harder. You can't compare old ex primal to this unless you played it when it first dropped and around the recommend item level.

Right. EX primals in ARR were a whole lot harder than menagerie when they were first released and people couldn't drastically out ilvl them. Even then there were people wiping frequently before HW released and started doing it unsynced at 60. Even at 60 people wipe on them because they don't follow mechanics. If players actually put the effort in to learn mechanics and actually do them menagerie is an easy fight. The issue is the players not the duty.

Im not sayin to nerf it , but I get what the op is sayin some people cant hang, and I just disagree with you and the person you where replying to, I def would say the royal is harder than laksimi ex at the same ilvl if we are talkin about ilvl sync

Bismark, ravana, garuda, ifrit , Id actually say that royal is harder than all of these and lakimismi extreme just saying

I did Bismarck EX and Ravana EX before it was possible to have an esoterics weapon, and they were a dps check at the time with Law gear. I was a bit late doing Garuda and Ifrit EX, having soldiery gear when I did them, but you actually had to handle mechanics, and even tank swap on Ifrit. Your dps had to be smart enough to wait 3(?) seconds in between nail kills, or your tank would get rekt, and during the swap the person giving the boss away needed to be smart enough to rotate counterclockwise to avoid getting another stack from the breath. Doing these primals when you are waaaay overgeared is not the same thing as doing them when they're relevant, and calling them easier than Royal Menagerie is just plain wrong. If people are having THAT much trouble with RM, maybe this is not the game for them.

It's not though, RM is easier than any EX primal when first released by a fair margin, including Lakshmi.

Lakshmi is certainly one of the easiest EX fights, but it still has a little more going on then "push a button to do mechanics". I think you are simplifying it a bit too much to make your point. And really what complex mechanics does RM have?

All of the mechanics present in Royal Menagerie have been present in previous ARR Hard Mode primal with the exception of two mechanics that only showed up in Coil at the time of release (Ahk Morn and Death Sentence were in later content, but in terms of ARR, they were only present in Coil). They are all extremely simple to execute. Even at release during Early Access, Menagerie was not hard, and it's only going to get easier as people gradually out-gear it enough to help/carry new players or lazy players. Lakshmi Ex is an easy primal, but it does take a bit more thought than just "dodge mechanics"--as easy as the Vrill mechanic is, still requires enough awareness to execute it at the appropriate times. But saying that Lakshmi Ex is easier than Menagerie is a bit of a stretch.

Of course, both pieces of content and their difficulty are subject to being measured subjectively, and vary between individuals. But the general consensus seems to be that Menagerie is not that hard, and certainly not harder than any of the ARR primals at the time of release.
