What FF character could be a good trial?

What about Yiazmat from FF12?

To be fair thinking about it, we haven't actually fought a behemoth as a raid/dungeon boss outside the actual FATE spawn. Or you've got "Th'uban" from FF10 monster arena which is a form/style of behemoth.

Anyone remember Angra Mainyu from FF10-2? he looked really cool!

X-2 and the 13 series, despite generally being regarded as bad, had some cool enemies that are overlooked pretty often. I'd love to see Barthandalus or Orphan appear at some point.

I'm still waiting for a battle against "human" Sephiroth, or the final form of Kefka as the last boss on FFVI. I also think that Anima from FFX has soooooo much potential to be a really good primal battle.

I think JENOVA from FF7 could make for a great trial considering she has many phases/forms. Griever from FF8 would be interesting as well because he's basically an ultimate Primal. And Kuja and his silver dragon, his dragon being the first phase.

Although there is only one serious way to implement her. Even if you 'beat' the trial, she gets bored of you and still wins, just like in FFIX.

I was going to suggest this as well. Sephiroth would be pretty silly, and totally break the tone, but Jenova would be a perfect fit. I'm struggling to come up with three other FFVII bosses that would work, though. Most of them would be more suited to being part of the Garlean army (like the scorpion tank we got recently) than Omega. Maybe the whole raid set could be about Shinra experiments, including Lost Number and Sample:H0512, and maybe Hojo himself (I feel like human Hojo is pushing things a bit, but if he monsters up right away, then it should be fine). Topping off with the greatest Shinra experiment of them all: Jenova.

I'd like to see Brothers from ff8, mostly in that both tanks would be tanking again similar to levi and a few others. That and the dialogue between them could be hilarious. They might even fit well with the lupin tribe, idk.
