Please fix Healer Chocobo's priorities

I'm sick and tired of dying because my Chocobo insists on casting Choco Surge as a priority. What good is a healing buff if I die because the Chocobo didn't heal me at all? At the very least the Chocobo should want to wait until its owner is at 50% or more HP to cast Choco Surge and Choco Regen. The Chocobo should also want to heal itself when it drops below 20% at least.

I'm dying because the Chocobo isn't healing when it should be. If it dies healing me then I have to re-summon it because it won't heal itself and I can't heal it as certain Jobs and it takes its sweet time using Choco Surge all the while leaving me to fend for myself and never gets around to healing me because it takes like 5 seconds to use any ability again.

Also why does choco stack with you when set to heal mode. That's the last place you'd want a healer to be, it eats cleaves from enemies. Change it to stay at range, and use healing.

I'm willing to accept this behavior as is if the Chocobo heals itself when it should. I only ask it not make Choco Surge priority 1 24/7 no matter what, because that can get solo dps players killed at times.

I mean yeah my Choco uses Surge first which is fine but manages to keep me alive and itself even when in its in Free Stance doing Kick and Drop in between. The only time it may die is from a mass pull, S marks or doing certain FATEs, but being in Heal Stance would prolong it's life in those instances anyway.

It is situational yes but the Chocobo should not be wanting to use a buff when it or its master is in danger. That is the point I am making here. How would you feel if a Healer in a dungeon decided to use Lagresse when you are about to die instead of healing you? Yes Lagresse is an oGCD but it does slightly delay the heal if used first. A Healing buff does no good if you don't heal the endangered player in time, and regardless of whether or not you struggle to understand the motives behind this request it is a valid request. Honestly, I shouldn't be needing to make this request at all but I am because priorities matter.

I don't know if this was ment as a satirical dig at the healer DPS debate but I took it as one and laughed inappropriately loud in a public place. Thank you for that.

I just set my chocobo to DPS, I figure if we can't kill something together then it wasn't meant to be dead.

I'm not denying you of making a valid request, I'm trying to understand in what kind of situation would you be in where both you and the chocobo would be dying, because it should be pretty rare in my opinion. Also it could not be compared to an actual healer because they have CDs or insta-heals available if necessary to save the endangered player.
