Is there a faster way to heal on console?

Maybe some seasoned PVP healer vets can give me some advice. When I need to heal a teammate with Clemency, what I'm doing right now is using the D-Pad to scroll down the list to choose the player and (provided that they and I are in range), heal them. This is how I've always done it, even when leveling Astrologian.

But I'm wondering, is there a faster way to go about it than what I'm doing?

Target macros are your friend if you can't mouse over

like for example you have 4 clemency buttons that have /target "Player name" and simply change the name on the 4 macros every game.

Isn't it more convenient to /pvpac "Clemency" <2> to target the player in that party slot. 4 party slots, 4 macros, no need for name inputs.
