I don't really have set prices because I've never gotten a proper price check on stuff, but I tend to charge below $15 for a black and white headshot. Maybe I should reevaluate my prices, idk

People who appreciate art and aesthetic, for example. Or people who grew attached to their game character.
Different people have different tastes. There will always be those who appreciate things that others don't.

I've paid for commissions for my Miqo'te, for my friend's Au Ra, and for Lord Haurchefant artworks.
I feel happy when I look at the arts. It's a small happiness, but it's happiness no matter what.

I would recommend you to check tumblr.com and search "FFXIV Art" or "FFXIV Commission"
I used to share links to people's commissions but that was ages ago, those artists might not be available now, so it might be faster to search and see the active ones at the moment and look around for the artist whose style you like most and has the price range you feel is good for you.

You know, you could just not be a jerk and express that you are not one to commission art for something you like.

Tumblr is also a great place to find talented artists as long as you don't mind wading through the NSFW stuff that can clog up the FFXIV tags.

Normally on tumblr you have to message the artist you want very fast when they do open though on tumblr - my friend opened up an art sale for an hour and got 40 full commissions. Pretty competitive to secure a spot if you don't have tons of money.
