    Welp, I can just assume with all the killing you did on this new moon cycle did not pop Okina because the spawn timer isn't there but would contribute for the body count for the next new moon, and it should be an instapop then.

    PS: You can guess Udumbara is really really hard to be ninja'ed if you haven seen it 1 shot aoe people. Btw people are farming FATE from dusk till dawn here so I can't even say anything about Diakka kill count.

    I believe you mean "full moon" on the second moon you mentioned because Okina doesn't spawn at new moon, right?

    And about the 1st post:
    I think Van should update it as soon as we have all the specifics down for Udumbara. Remember, the 1st post didn't get an update up until SB was released, so .. let's take more time to get everything to the fullest.

    These are our kill times for Okina, the horizontal bars indicate Full Moon:


    We kill:
    - yumemi
    - naked yumemi
    - ashigaru yumemi

    50~70 total (not each)

    Yes, we've tried popping it earlier, in between, and during new moon. Only this pattern has worked for us so far.

    Udumbara spawned at 135 hours.

    # Killed → Leshy/Sapria/Diakka=66/50/60
    I started kiling plants from 133 hours, so the # could be bigger than 50/50/50?(or the spawn time is longer than HW ones)

    Have you also been tracking the killing of Unkiu, Giant Coralshells, Oni Yumemi, Mishirushi and Daimyo Yumemi? All of these could also be contributing to the kill total.

    It seems more to be along the line of 100/100. Of course the window may have an influence, but so far with no others around doing killing, 50/50 wasnt enough to pop. But I also didnt kill Saprias, so they may be in it too.

    At the moment, no. Because we've tried to include the other shellfish before and noticed no significant difference when spawning Okina.

    When the Ruby Sea still had instances, only two of us Hunters (no one else was in the instance) were killing the yumemi using this pattern and we made Okina pop. We didn't kill ashigaru yumemi or daimyo yumemi back then. We've never had problems spawning Okina with this method. Up to now, we don't kill Daimyo Yumemi (that's the big FATE one right?)

    We also start before 12pm, not on the dot. Around 10am I'd say, then Okina would pop at 12pm onwards. It's spawned late afternoon to early evening, but never in the dead of the Eorzean night.

    I suspect that Okina may be spawned based on a total number of shellfish kills rather than X number each of yumemi and naked yumemi.

    What I now suspect is that Okina's rules are:
    1. Spawn time count down complete.
    2. Instance Shellfish Kill total greater than X.
    3. Afternoon of a Full Moon.
