I'll stick with a sound effect and using the auto translate function to call the skill out. A "gather behind me!" entry to that would be great.

Cringy macros are just bad. A sound effect, a short message to tell people to gather behind you and the skill is all that's necessary. Not even a delay, since they can just as easily move into it after it's used.

How does it look with others' effects set to reduced/off? I know you can still see astro shields and stuff, but I've never been on the receiving end of PoA and playing with others' effects on is for chumps. I have laughed and cringed at different macros. Looking at you Astro who had a chat spam for every drawing of the cards.

Card macros are the Valkurm Dunes Boost macro of FF14.

It's a cringey kind of nostalgia.

As for my suggestions, I'd put something like "Unlike Sephirot, this blue aoe is a good thing! Stand in it! (Passage of Arms)"
