What the healer was doing was disrupting gameplay, just like the tank, and the healer is the one who started it.

Obviously I didn't do it to the heads.

The tank was almost always critical, despite my gear being fine and me spamming heals and keeping up my hot. I've never had this before and it kept the tank from melting even faster.

I was doing it to keep my party alive and do my job more effectively, something that doesn't count as disruptive at all.
He was doing it to get me killed.

I forgot to add that he was just swearing and abusing me throughout the waiting. I peeked at it once every 10 minutes or so.

This morning I made a group for Susano EX in the Party Finder, in an attempt to get a weapon for my newly level capped White Mage. After several failed tries and a few replaced DPS (I did not use the "Duty Completed" requirement, but some people simply did not bother to learn the encounter at all), we get this fairly overgeared Monk. We managed to clear Susano, but then the Monk began to demand his parsed DPS. I tell him that this is just a regular clear group and that I didn't bother to parse, and he just completely freaks out, calling me a incompetent and a whole slew of other bad terms. Then he refused to do any more DPS for us, so I just did the sensible thing of kicking him from the party and replacing him.

He then made his own PF group for just himself, just to publicly shame me with the description "Dameron Blakesley is a failure, don't join his group". Fortunately it didn't really affect anything, but he kept this group open for a solid 30 minutes.

So I decided to spam Gubal HM for the song and Doma for my last remaining card. I didn't feel like tanking today so I went SCH. I've had a couple of nice runs but suddenly: Tanks.

* I got a WAR in Gubal HM where the DPS insisted on pulling more. The tank didn't pop any cd and I was struggling to DPS+heal the DPS taking damage from mobs+healing the tank. On the last pull, the tank pulls everything but the last pack. The MCH, however, runs ahead and pulls the remaining monsters. I try to heal everyone. The tank, having more stuff on him and not using *any cd*, dies like a fly in a bonfire. So I ended up healing the DPS that were obviously running around to avoid getting hit. The melee dies, because yeah, he can't run. Then I struggle to heal the MCH as we finish to burn the whole pull without a wipe. I could have let him die but that was going to be a waste of time and I wanted to clear that. Needless to say, I got 3 players comm that run. It was painful though.

Having to heal this tank, doing big pulls, with as much HP as the SAM in the same group was a pain. Yes, he was full STR. (I curse you SE -.-). Every hit was taking 50% of his HP. The "cap" there I believe is 40k-ish. So I was struggling to DPS and heal this person. Of course he dropped his stance on bosses, which I kinda understimate in the first boss. He went from 45% of his HP to zero in a single auto. Thankfully this happened when the boss was about to die, so there was no wipe here. He returned and we kept going. Nothing I could do, really. It was painful. I only got a single player comm. ; ;

I also had an encounter with a married couple (since last name was the same) and they were both ughhhh. The whm was doing that fad where you spam medica II for no reason and the dps refused to aoe dispite the tank doing large pulls thus extending run duration and the time the tank was getting beaten on. About half way through this 70 dungeon I ask the whm to stop spamming medica II since she was causing monsters to fly between her and the tank. I get "no hablo English", yeah right person who has English ticked in party window. Anyway I put medica II and stop in auto translate and get "no" in response. This whm then decides to use medica II and only medica II constantly during the second boss fight. Oh well it's not my mp she's wasting. These two people were both mentors too, god.

If I was in the run I would of kicked the healer. You just do not use a move like fluid aura in a dungeon because it screws up positioning for AoE. Especially in a dungeon like sunken temple of qarn because you have to position certain mobs in certain areas to progress in the first place.

Also what is to say that the "moron tank" was not also playing on his phone? The two got into a anger contest over something you simply do not do in a dungeon excluding any particular instance where you have a set of mobs that include two or more ranged mobs that cannot be conventionally gathered easily with the rest of the pull and thus the use of a knockback ability can put the ranged mobs on top of each other for the pull.

Perhaps you should re-read the post. The healer used Fluid Aura to absolve some of the incoming damage. This tells me either the tank wasn't properly utilizing their CDs or either they or the healer weren't geared enough for the size of the pulls. Basically, they shouldn't have done them. All the tank had to do is ask the healer not use Fluid Aura, which would have prompted the healer to explain why they did. You're defending someone who flew into a rage over a one off. It's the equivalent of me screaming at a healer for putting Regen on me as I pull. In such scenarios, I tell them after that pull to not do it and why. Only if they persist thereafter do I get mad.

If the tank couldn't keep aggro because of a regen and medics II, that's on him.

I tank too and a single flash or shield lob is enough to keep aggro at the beginning. HoTs or not. You can't expect to hold aggro when all you do is walk past mobs.

Yeah that sounds like a troll player trying to trick you into mentioning parsing. Never mention you're running a parser, even if you are. If anyone asks for numbers, never say, unless you absolutely trust everyone in the group not to report you, and even then it's risky - better off posting the numbers/parse in Discord or Teamspeak. If someone ever tries to bully or harass you because your "DPS is low," ask them "Oh yeah and what's my DPS say on your parse?" and turn it right back on them. If they reply with an actual number, you can probably get them in serious trouble with a report.

Getting caught using a parser is a one-way ticket to ban city. I would think long and hard about reporting someone out of spite for it.
