Yes, just like getting disconnected. I'd assume for any FC or house, there would probably be a notice going on for at least a week. It'd be on the crafter for the loss of their mats for ignoring guild events. For personal housing, I really doubt that the person you'd share a house with wouldn't tell you.

Honestly, I might have been gushing over other things and didn't catch it. The last I heard was just an announcing there would be a system in place, but there were 0 details, or hardly any real important details. Only that it'd be "disclosed at a later date." Happen to have a link to any mentioned details? (This is a serious question- some of the translaters do less than stellar jobs because on-the-fly translating is hard, but you still end up missing details or just straight up incorrect translations due to the nature of on-the-fly translations). I know if someone still inside a house could prevent a house transfer, that'd be a possibility worth worrying over to bring to their attention.

Also, lots of people don't keep up with live letters. Some argue they don't want any kind of story spoilers, but then they lose out on other information.
