Omega 1.0 savage - Great intro difficulty

I used to be a raider, older now, have different priorities in life now. Still love playing games though just can't be online as consistently as many years ago. Personally this format for me is better. Being able to farm the ex primals and o1s and o2s in duty finder/ party finder I find it great. Now thinking of my younger self, that really enjoyed the hard content, using something like teamspeak and being weeks working on a Boss with the same group, I don't know if I would like it. It all depends how hard/rewarding o3s and o4s plus this super savage would be.
But for me now as a more casual player although still like a bit some "harder" content this format is great.

There were posts on first day about people with no previous raid experience queueing in raid finder and clearing OS1 within the first lockout. My FC has also people who have cleared OS1-OS3 outside statics in party finder / raid finder. OS1 and OS2 are around same difficulty than current "extremes" and are completely beatable and farmable in DF if people know the basics of their jobs.

O1S is probably easier than both the Ex primals, considering it's literally normal mode with one or two new mechanics.

If they're going to introduce people to raiding, they should at least make the content a little harder than what was already available. Honestly it's a joke when PF parties, midcore groups and newbies are clearing a savage turn in one lockout. I could almost see 02S as being a good starter for new raiders, but O1S is pathetic.

Go watch MrHappy's stream. He has pugged V1-3 four out of five weeks without much of a hitch. Friend of mine has pugged V1 every single week and gotten all her drops for BLM already. I pugged it once week two and we cleared just over an hour later.

I haven't had a static for a while, but I've been able to consistently pug 01-03S. Going to try pugging 04S this week since it should be easier with most people having i330 or i340 weapons. 01S struggled somewhat on week 2, but afterwards? Never had an easier time clearing it. If you're asking to have it cleared within the raid timer with no consistent members? Depends on who you get as always, but it's been done consistently at this point. They die, they clean up what they do and it gets cleared.

Not to brag or to berate your statement, cause it's not wrong, it is harder in a pub, but I did my first few runs with a public group, 7 runs total, only took 3 to get it on farm. It's truly not hard, nor is it easy, it's a nice entry.

I must have awful luck with PUGs then becuase none of my pugs or PF groups could clear it till I did it with a static group.

Anyway I want to clarify what I mean by my OP, I think that O1 and O2 savage are great as an INTRO difficulty.

I'm up to O3 Savage now and well, that's definitely savage lol. But remember that O1 and O2 are the first 2 fights in what will eventually be a series of 12.

Before you get unnecessarily flamed, the REASON that it isn't a good difficulty is because easy raid content = raid content with a short life span, this stuff needs to last until 4.2
