Poll: lets say they implement the mounts

I can't really speak to the specifics of lag or anything, but I seriously doubt that Yoshi or the rest of the team are overlooking something like this. They're smarter than that, and they're aware of hardware/software limitations. It may even be a non-issue to begin with.

It depends how many people use these mounts and are around the same places, no matter what a group of something as large as a Goobue is going to add the chance of increased lag or load time. In curtain situations it could be a really annoying issue for some people, of course not everyone will be effected by this.
In every other mmo I've played that had large mounts it's always been a problem lag wise. I just fear with FFXIVs graphics it could be an even larger issue. Oh well, we will just have to wait and see.
