Job Idea: Cannoneer (Healer)

I feel like this is something like I've brought up before.....oh wait, I have brought it up!.....Many, many times!

I do like this concept though, especially since it's a lot more fleshed out than the one I did so long ago. Couple of elements that seemed a bit broken, but overall a concept I'd really love to see in the game.

I've always wanted Chemist in FFXIV as healer, especially the hand cannon version. We def need to show support for the idea!

Ohh man I've wanted a "ranged" support healer as well as a melee support healer.

But I've also wanted it sort of like: Shara from Xenoblade.

Her Arts/abilities are listed are similar to what I would like to see in a range/weaponized healer.

To prevent any confusion with the alchemist class, which is also why it needs to look almost nothing like the traditional Chemist job of past Final Fantasy games.

This. You could call it apothecary and be fine, but calling it 'Chemist' would cause far too much confusion and would in the end be rather poor game design given that it shares all but three letters with a crafting class.

The concept seems clever but I'm not big on the name; Cannoneer. It sounds like a badly named MCH action. I'm thinking more along the lines of just a simple Gun Medic rather than Mage maybe.
