At the very least it doesn't seem to be as widespread as it could be. So far I've noticed only the usual suspects, but I'm gonna delete some of what I said earlier in the thread so no one gets funny ideas.
I suggest you do the same.
The whole point is to heavily punish the leaver. If they are locked out, lose a massive amount of points, what have you, you're creating a set of consequence that make the loses to great for folks to want to game around the system.
There have been instances in old Feast games where a match was canceled before gates open because there were not enough players on either sides of the team. Folks that drop out of a match should be heavily punished, because the losing side with the leavers are punished. They lose a game and rank points before the match even started
Also due to the fact that you have to do solo matches across the data center, at lower levels it would be hard to cheat the system since the player base is so large. It isn't until you get to the higher tiers do you see reoccurring player names, and even then, you are chancing everything on timing and luck to be in the same match as another.
