Actually, You can Transpose indefinitly now. Astral Fire and Umbral Ice are 13 seconds while Transpose is 12 seconds. Will you end up in a preferred stance? maybe not. But you'll keep enochian and Foul timer going.

Add 400 ping to that and you have about 0.6s to decide to use Transpose or not after your spell does 0 dmg and gives you no stacks.


That's true, but knowledge of the content comes into play there. Casters in particular are rewarded when they are standing in the right place, or precasting something, or transpose before an invulnerability.
