Where are all the healers?

Why they should put 10% increase on dps damage? The fight are already made thinking of no healer dps.

Because otherwise they might have to learn rotations instead of blaming healers for not putting out enough DPS... :^P

i think they should implement a healer class without own dps options, but with lots of buffs. basically AST with better buffs and no damage skills.

now every healer is a heal + dps hybrid. that's a fine playstyle. but why has every healer this playstyle? i don't like it, i want another type of healer. give us more options besides the dpsing healer.

But again, how would you ever level that as a primary class? You wouldn't be able to do the MSQ with it. Healer DPS exists because the primary means of interacting with the game world is killing stuff.

They'd need to put Cleric Stance back in, but as a toggle like AST sects: once you go into DPS stance, you *can't* come out. That is about the only way to eliminate healer DPS in group content without breaking the solo game for healing classes.

They could implement a pet of sorts that does the fighting for you while you just support it, actually that would be a pretty cool healer class, no attacks themselves but a pet to "protect" them from danger by attacking (though probably would have more commands then smn/sch pets have atm)

And when you bring that pet out in group content, you're expected to DPS again. So the original issue still exists.

true, could just lock the pet out of group content since the healer would be protected by the party rather then a pet

I mean AST gets like 500 DPS only by keeping the DoT up, is that much to ask? I dont think its a difficult task that requires you to be a master raider or anything.

I have played AST all my life but recently I have started to play DRK more. Queues are much faster. (Yes, healer queues can be long sometimes)

Because I'm an elitist that doesn't want to queue with people in DF that don't even know what does it mean "dodge an AoE" (Is it that difficult to do a basic performance when you are lvl 70 in DF?). And I don't mind accidents happening, but I do care when the accident is your own existence.
