For me...
It got to the point where I would explain the ability with a macro at the start of a dungeon and made a macro letting them know it's up, even then 90% of the time people seem to ignore it. This and a few other reasons is why I no longer even try to bother with roulettes or DF anymore outside of premades.

Roulette 50/60,yesterday.Got ARF.bonus message poped.
Ran into lv 70 PLD without Sprout icon but Viewing every cutscenes.
He also said it was his 1st time.Judging from his performance,it was obvious that he was new to dungeon,not purposely troll.
But ... ARF is part of MSQ right ? How is that possible ?
I mean,He need to beat ARF to finish HW as part of main story to access to lvl up to 61+,is it not ?
Am I missing something ?

EDIT : He have few lv 300 and 310 verity gear pieces.

Nope, there's a potion to skip the HW story as well. Costs more than the ARR one though.

Deltascape 3. I'm so sorry to all the healers in my group last night. I was sucking at every mechanic (moreso than the first time I did the fight) and ate some aoe's that I'm pretty sure I was out of (like the blizzard attack) so I might have had a bit of lag.

That being said, I finally ran into one of those melee who refuse to LB. We get full LB3 and the group isn't doing particularly well (I mean, I know I wasn't and it looked like I wasn't the only one dying); so people start asking for LB3. Monk just doesn't do it until much later (honestly I'm not even sure the monk ended up using it or if it was a ranged). After the fight, the monk just says: "Monks don't limit break. Learn the mechanics."

Is this a thing? Are you really unwilling to be a team player and just get the stupid clear instead of sticking to principles of refusing to LB3 because reasons?

I'm glad I got that guy's spring on a shitty roll. XD

I know if I'm on my Monk I prefer not to limit break. I don't like to take the chance of losing grease lightning by doing a limit break. And I am definitely not going to use it if i have brotherhood and riddle of fire up.

A monk can easily lb3 if they time their refresh on Greased Lightning. I personally don't like to lb on Monk until there's a window of opportunity, or I'll wait until the boss is about dead (gauging on which limit break bar we have) so I can finish the fight with it, without overkilling.

That's because(iirc) that it also skips the ARR story. Pretty sure it was in a live letter back in May that it was mentioned.

Monk is a hard class to LB3 on from all the timers and the attack's long ass animation lock. Ot's not that they can't do it, so much as they tend to be one of the worst choices for the huge personal DPS loss it can hit them with.
