Don't be a party popper, it is not perfect sure, divergent touches on such concepts but let the guy have some fun and see if they can find something out.
For me I have no select one job, but some do flow more naturally then others, and ill list the priorities.
Crafting> healing >DPS (range) > tank > melee [general but sam is an outlier]
All crafting expect CUL (due to lack of inventory) > Healer (WHM for expert, AST for more of raid settings like dunscape, SCH for when I am in the mood for something different, more likey used in one boss settings) > BLM (but feelings on this is changing due to how the job was changed) >SAM (may become my DPS main) > BRD > DRK>PLD> RDM> others MCH and SMN are up in the air due to how you currently have to play them. Normally I gravitate to SMN in games like this but ffxiv.. I just can't... it feels.. choppy... where sam rotations are just perfect, compared to everything else, and having a real aoe rotation is fun. Mess up does not seem to hit DPS totals too much unlike other jobs , and ping/coding issues effect this list somewhat. I am losing interest in BLM because the failures that can happen with keeping Enochian up. MCH seems like too much work for too little result, and something I tried to play in HW, it had too much clipping issues and fail to trigger abilities like outlined here:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ight-rotations...
made things rather difficult to use MCH to a type I tend to gravitate to, as outline in the general list above, range DPS tends to be a natural priority for me. Gathering is in there somewhere, during 2.0 it used to be crafting > gathering > anything else, but due to exploring the game more during HW and now SB, it is hard for me to rank gathering exactly. Fish is on the low end though and that reason is for the same as CUL, no inventory space. War is pretty much last, and I hate healing most wars as well (most likely the reason the job is stained for me)
I craft a lot still, even though I do not need to. I just find it fun to make things and make more gil to horde I guess? no idea. It does confuse me why I keep doing something when it serves no purpose.
Now anyone wanna play a game and guess my personality type?
I think this causes me to run into conflicts. I am fully willing to kick people for being unpleasant to play with (to put it lightly) I run into it is more common that people have "lets get this done" vs kicking someone because of not knowing how to treat people on a social level. For me I do not care how long things take, if you are mistreating someone socially I will put the vote up, even if this means missing daily bonus because I entered the DF just before reset.
Oh.. i forgot to answer the race question;p I am a lalafall and I play just about everything, just some jobs don't click with me well. Lets just say I invest heavily in healing, casting, sam, Range DPS, then tank to a lesser extent when it comes to where to invest those weekly limits

Mayhap you can compile an image like this one. Posting a link because while it is SFW I just know someone is gonna cry.

I can see us having significant conflict. I tend to subdue my personality for the most part, but if things get serious enough, I will say something, and I will be blunt. Probably doesn't help I have a communication difficulty on top of my INTJ-t (aka Turbulent Architect, I sometimes swap to ENTJ, which is Commander). Societal norms don't interest me. Competence is the name of the game. Though surprisingly in game I am extremely forgiving, and so long as someone is willing to try their best, I will support them through their struggles. But I can come across as arrogant and judgemental, as well as overly analytical.I think this causes me to run into conflicts. White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Here:
"I do not mean simply giving advice and saying "you did something wrong" Heck just now someone used rng lb too soon and right when they did I said Melee lb> range (we where still fighting) because it only dropped it to 5% left. They told me they did it because I did not use it and I said the reason was because it was not time yet, if the healers knew how the fight went, and not rush the stack markers away from the party to go die, I would of used it right when it chimmed to lb3 in hope we get a 4th. but because there was too high of a risk of people not knowing what to do, I was not going to lb intil around 4%, the point to bring it near dead because we still might of needed the healer LB with how things where going. Then I get insulted with standing in aoes when I was like one of the few that did not die? Makes sense.
What I mean by treating people is in respect to not trolling (I/e making a premade of 5 or6 just to grief randoms in forcing ravana to wipe because I am soloing adds) Pulling elvatator levers in MSQ roulette before the other6 people are on the pad, then says nothing after asking about it < kicked them over it, someone else put up that vote before I got to, and was shocked on that. Or basically trying curse people out and tell them they suck or uninstall. I had a few groups that really went to town on harassing me and expect me put up with it because "duty is almost done" ... I really hate premade shielding =/
anyways I do not want to derail too much so .. I thought I'd end the guessing game ;p oh well.
