Ixion fate & Future fates

Right now, my greatest fear with the new change in place is that demand will decline now that you only need 2 runs to get the mount. Even if I am around to see Ixion spawn, the FATE will fail because less people do it, since the majority of people who care about Ixion will have already obtained the mount. I've been camping Ixion myself but I fear he'll only spawn during the 6 hour time window when I'm asleep. =(

I thought the same thing as well myself, but honestly at this point I think it may actually help the situation. I know that I personally have ALTs, and will farm Ixion on them now that I know it only takes 2 kills for the mount, whereas when it took 6 kills, I would have absolutely not considered it for even a moment.

It helps, but I don't think it helps enough. The fact that you STILL either have to know the right people who will inform you when it spawns, be lucky enough to be around and available when it spawns or camp it out all day and night just feels wrong to me. You are happy about the changes since you were fortunate to directly benefit from them. I've been camping out Ixion for almost 11 hours as of this post and Ixion hasn't spawned in any of the three instances. Given my luck it will only spawn after I collapse of exhaustion and fall asleep.
