This game literally had regional pricing and is not region locked. Due to how Steam controls payments, there was also next to zero possibility for people to exploit it.

This issue was brought up repeatedly in the original locked thread, and numerous people pointed out that it's nigh impossible to scam the system on Steam to take advantage of regional pricing due to restrictions Steam has in place.

It's just damage control to get the people who are complaining and spamming the steam reviews with negative reviews soothed, but the damage is already done I guess... But throwing a fit when you lose your special priviledge and are treated the same as customers on other platforms inside your region and everyone else outside, marvelous...

I said I'm not mad at the changes, I just wish they had told people in advance. I'm talking about everyone who stood together did in a polite manner in a thread made for it. I cannot speak for those who wrote a bad review in Steam.

I criticized SE in the original threads on this for the lack of communication about it. I am glad they have recognized that the unannounced price adjustment was unfair and have taken some steps to apologize for the lack of communication.

Well, it's nice to be listened to at last (I wish it would have been done earlier though). I really appreciate SE taking some steps to reduce tension between SE and BR/RU players.
