It only takes one Odin or Behemoth to get any of their prizes.
One CoeurlRegina chain too, IIRC.
One Foxy Lady (If it ever spawns) for those rewards as well.
Ixion was the only one that took that many encounters.

2 of those are old content, which is why I was saying doing this so early in the expansion makes no sense. It would have been fine if they made this change later to allow players to get it if it were less camped by then. In addition, mounts are a more sought after thing in modern MMOs and often have a prestige associated with them.
Ixion, while many argue is not the most good looking mount it is very unique in comparison to the other available mounts. It only made sense that it should take you time and dedication to obtain.
That time and dedication is still there having to sit there and wait for the thing to spawn, or being on at the right time and being able to get to it if not in the zone in time. With the change chances are more people will now be willing to gun for it.2 of those are old content, which is why I was saying doing this so early in the expansion makes no sense. Looking back at it, it's one chain and one phase 2 if you want both items, so I'll grant there's a bit more there.
Odin and Behemoth have been 5 tokens per gold from the start, IIRC.
I saw a lot of people talking about how the zone was stressed in the patch notes thread and how this would help. There are 3 instances first off, they are rarely at full or near max capacity unless Ixion is alive at that time. Even if one instance is filled there is still 2 others that someone can use if they have no interest in Ixion. I really don't see why anything would need to be done further at this point.
Should been done sooner, it kept crashing the zone. As I said in a different thread, If you look at the big picture and long run, the change does not make it anymore common or rarer prenerf other then make it less annoying and attempt to have the zone not to crash from making the demand less.2 of those are old content, which is why I was saying doing this so early in the expansion makes no sense. Zero skill and basically Zero gear needed. This is not FFXI, long spawn windows are crap. They had a couple choices. Add another way to get horns, continue the awesome show that is current system, increase drop/lower horns needed. They laso may want to turn off instances, since the design is still lacking two years later.
Also I think the mount looks obnoxious, but that is just me. It just screams look at me I am trying so hard.
And none of those rewards were mounts. So your point is?
