I've also been enjoying this game from its release day. I consider myself quite picky when it comes to MMORPGs (meaning I don't like most of them), so I definitely wouldn't stay this long if I didn't find FFXIV enjoyable. This game simply has everything I wanted in an MMORPG, so there was no way I wouldn't like it, haha. As a note, I must say that I used to dislike the main quest story back in 2.0 (though I still thought the rest of the game was great), but now even the story has be hooked.
Eorzea is my happy place, so I hope this game runs for many years.

I started a linkshell and an FC just to help out newer people. Haven't been bored since! We all help each other out and we all jump in to help newer players with gear, lessons, getting content done and chatting, etc.. I'm not saying this is for everyone, but I find it rewarding.FFXIV is a unique MMO where I actually sort of fear completing the leveling process. It's not that I'm afraid of what I'll be doing at cap, but I just love the leveling experience so much, I just don't know what I'll think of the game when all I have left to do is dungeons/raids. The leveling is just so engaging (doing the MSQ, of course, can't speak for alts), it's basically making the game for me.
Looks like we have been playing about the same amount of time and I can't say I've run out of things to do yet. Also just when I think it may be a possibility, they add more content, jobs, crafts and story. Still having fun!

				I like this thread! <3
I just finished SB main story last night and I'm one of those people that feels like the story was a bit too rushed and villains could have been better, BUT I adored the Azim Stepps arc! That arc alone saved the expansion for me, so awesome! Hopefully we'll see more of the different Au Ra tribes in the future patches.
Now that I've caught up with the story I'm looking forward to trying out the two new DPS jobs and see how they play. Still got to level my gatherers and maybe some crafters if I feel like it, try some new content with my friends, do 3.0 content unsync and overall just have a good time.Sure, the game has it's flaws, but I enjoy every second I get to spend together doing runs and relax with awesome people!

I didn't really feel it was all that rushed but I do take my time doing MSQ so maybe that changed my perception. I do know that I am anxious to get more of the story. I want to know what happens next!I like this thread! <3

It's nice to know that others have friends they are enjoying the game with, my friends make playing FFXIV even more fun than it already is.

There's a list of times the fox fates spawned in a google doc, but it hasn't been updated since July 29th for Balmung. :/ I want that minion. Any tips on finding the outfoxed and lady fox fates?

I love this MMO so much more than ANY MMO I've played before. (WOW, AION, tried GW2) this is one where all of my memories have been positive and the community is so much better. I love everything about the game, story, classes, etc.
I'm looking forward to future patches and expansions. My writer's block has finally lifted and XIV is starting to be an inspiration for me, I love SB but my favorite is HW (I love dragons!) I am an alt-aholic can't seem to stop playing with the character creation and already have a 3rd character in mind to start, lots of possibilities!
Thank you SE for restoring my love of MMOs, you've got a lifetime player here!

Definitely love this MMO to bits - I started back in ARR with free trial because of a friend and at first thought I'd end it there as well, but as I progressed, I found out the game is precious. I hold it very dear and probably no other MMO had such impact or made me return to it after few months of hiatus like FFXIV.
I especially love the fact you can level everything on one character (since I always had tons of alts) and the story is awesome. It's probably the only MMO where I care about the story and characters in general this much! ^^

I have well over a dozen alts, 10 of which, have a job to at least lv60. I better love this game or I have no idea what I'm doing with my life.

I really like the game, always love doing the story with each patch and expansion. My only issue is that I don't really like DF anymore since most of the time it's a speed run, which I'm just not up to healing after a long day at work.
This expansion is the most fun I've ever had, especially getting into more of the content than I did with HW. Enjoyed FFXIV as a whole, but gotta say that SB has been the best so far.
