A thread for those who enjoy FFXIV

I really love this game. I'm enjoying Stormblood immensely! I have so much to do I feel like I'll be entertained for years to come. Am I the only one who actually likes this game and doesn't want to complain about every little thing that isn't perfect? Surely there are others out there having fun just like i am!?!?! Speak up! This thread is for those who are happy and having fun to talk about FFXIV and what we like about it.

I enjoy the game as well. It might not be perfect in every aspect, but I would still rather be playing this than any other MMO currently on the market.

I'm normally an alt-oholic in games like these, simply because I like to at least dabble in everything, even if I only really focus on one or two primary aspects. I absolutely love that this game allows me to do it all on a single character.

Thanks! That is exactly what i was going for. There are so many good, fun things about FFXIV but to read the Forum you'd think it was terrible. I'm really glad that people have responded to this thread and that there are other people out there enjoying the game.

Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I do think FFXIV has some nice features, like level sync and crafting and less RNG. And the story's worth going through.

I'd say one of my main criticisms of FFXIV is the long GCD. As stated here, more responsive inputs is just more fun.

If you disagree with this, please artificially slow your keyboard input down by 200ms for every game and watch how much fun you're having.

Oh come on, there are already a gazillion threads on the forums criticizing every aspect of the game, can't you take your gloomy cloud over to one of them? This thread was supposed to be positive!
If there are other MMOs you would rather play, no one is forcing you to stay here. Go and find something that makes you happy!

I love the game... I play it way too much on my main and alts. Personally I adore Stormblood and enjoyed it more than Heavensward. I've cleared story multiple times and look forward to doing it again with another alt I have on Gilgamesh when I get around to it one day. Focused pretty much on leveling at the moment for both war/magic and hand/land. Never seems to be enough time to get it all done.

I enjoyed it, though I thought the story seemed a little rushed. But I know we have much more until the next expansion, so I can't wait to see more. I hope we get a lot more of Hien. I love him. He can be so serious but then also come off as kind of goofy at times. He's just a trip.
