Change feast or remove WT sticker option from feast, make it frontline only

I do not know what you are all talking about, but derailing a topic isn't nice. What I meant by time is how long it takes to do something with how much I get to play (or willing to play since it is getting dull running same things over and over again) So I figured I give feast another try to see if it improved, and so far, at least the latest comments, has no reply to the blacklist issue. If someone is going to spam these quick chat pings, I should have a right to blacklist the person, it is broken in that respect, and saying there are tournaments, etc does not changethe fact it has problems. Guess what? premades will not spam each-other and try hinder winning, being in a tournaments, but that issue shouldn't exist with full chat either, or are you telling me people where toxic in tournaments too? Also it is not "15 options" It has 3, and depending on rng, has 3 others (70) and any one that might cross with leveling and frontline to hit the weekly, outside those is just a waste of time.

I am not sure why you are fighting me, even going as far as deraling the topic when I am simply asking for a right click blacklist (pretty sure every other MNO in existence has this) and if this can't be added for whatever reason, drop it from WT option. it is not even a big request...

The only thing I noticed here is "I hate change" no matter what it may be.

Stop, stop, stop - why do you even include WTs in this when its The Feast itself you want to talk about?
Seriously, why are you bringing something that is unrelated to the whole Feast-issue you actually want to talk about?
If you dont want to hear things like "There are 15 other options in WT for you" and count that as derailing - why is your thread-title about WT in the first place? Thats pretty missleading and derailing already.
If you want to talk about the changes they've made to Feast "long" ago, why not make a thread about that?
...except we HAD threads about that and it seems pretty pointless, since there haven been threads about this and it seems very clear that SE doesnt intend to change that. Frankly, I can see why the chat is gone and its probably for the best that it stays gone.

For the whole blacklist-issue... I just dont why you had to fold that into an issue thats not really related to that.

Because the only reason I care about feast is because it is sometimes an option in the WT book. I'd just prefer it be front line, where I can do the front line daily, so when I do expert and front line 3 times a week, I am done in 3 days, while getting the WT stickers, it is called being time efficient. However I do not mind doing other things outside that and give feast a try when it is for a sticker. So why is RNG telling me, front lines or feast, when feast is not enjoyable, because I can't blacklist? I do not understand why you are telling me I can't comment on WT, when that very thing bought me in trying feast here and there for the sticker, something short and different once in a while. However it is not enjoyable when 1. I can't blacklist spam, and has no chat. It does not make sense to me the development team censoring to this degree. Why did they make this mess of a chat when all they had to do was right click blacklist?

When I have limited WT options this week, try feast, hate the result because I can't blacklist the person "Good job" because he wants to run to the opponents and get killed for no healing, and wonder why I am commenting on WT? If they can't fix this (we are on 4.05, soon to be 4.06 and do not have a right click blacklist?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?) So because the game is so old, I figure maybe be easier for them drop feast from WT if they can't add it. Why is this an issue to talk about WT when it has to do with WT?

I am not counting the 15 options as derailing, I said Valkyrie_Lenneth' last post was, it is completely out of line.

I want a black list option to block the spam is the core of this thread -.- and if they are to add that, so should normal chat. Why take all this trouble to add a new chat system and not simply right click blacklist?

You make perfectly good points about some of the flaws of the Feast, like the crippled chat system which I hate. But this has nothing to do with WT. There are problems with other content too - the old 24-man raids, other outdated things - and they're still in WT too. What if I get mad I can't clear Garuda EX or something (somehow) and get in a few salty parties which make me want to ban things? The problem isn't with WT if that happens, it's with my parties, or possibly with me.

You're getting pushback because you're asking them to delete something other people enjoy for no reason; nobody is forcing you to choose to spend your WT options on a mode you hate. If you're not enjoying 8v8, 4v4 is quite different. If you're always getting nasty teammates, then let's discuss that, not WT. I personally enjoy having the PVP options in WT and the Feast one does encourage me to poke around in there in spite of the queues. Incidentally, it's quite rare for healers to get or want the defensive buff in 8v8 in my server group. Maybe your tactics aren't always widely accepted? And having chat to tell someone to change job probably still won't make them change job, sad to say.

Chat was removed because people couldnt be nice. No server limitations involved.

The pvp community has no one to blame but themselves for that one.

It's a silly stance to take. Punishing everybody for the actions of a select few. An efficient chat system is a necessity for numerous reasons, especially for relaying tactics in the moment or helping new players figure out what to do. The chat toxicity was never any worse than what can be found in other competitive PvP games such as Overwatch which is in itself arguably so successful because you can chat with fellow players. It was a heavy handed move on the part of the development team and the feedback in response has been largely negative...and given little to no official acknowledgement as of the present day.

If they truly saw it as a problem they could invest in a better system to report and process players taking things too far. The 'toxic' players just find new ways to irritate their team, anyway - such as spamming 'Nice job!' or just deliberately running into the middle of the enemy team to die.

Stawman? What does not clearing some content have to do with functionality? This is 4.06!!!!!!!!!!! <<< without a right click blacklist? it is a basic function in all MNOs that i know of. I never said anything about caring that my team lost because that is not the point. Enabling harassment though the WT is uncalled for and with the game this old, I am requesting it be removed to WT if they can't stop the enabling of harassment though feast because the game still lacks a right click blacklist

Because of the harassment enabling it has. A simple right click blacklist would do wonders. If they can't stop the enabling of harassment I like to see it off WT.

But some of the threads here show that harassment is just as common out of Feast as in it. Not a day goes by without someone posting about some ridiculous squabble in a random DF group somewhere.

I've never needed it but I have nothing against them adding a more convenient way to blacklist people if it's a feature that's missing. Sure. But for pity's sake, it has nothing to do with WT whatsoever.

Nobody's forcing you to do Feast.

I think the chat restrictions in Feast are silly too but I don't see what that has to do with Wondrous Tails. There's a reason why it gives you 16 options, and even if that is not enough for you to complete 9 of them, there's a reason why it gives you retries.
