Instance to Teach Mechanics Upon Using a Jump Potion.

With the release of the jump potion I have noticed quite a few people failing basic mechanics. Granted it isn't really the fault of the players since the tutorials and Hall of the Novice do not teach the player about things like gaze attacks or stack mechanics.

I'm just wondering if it would be possible have any new players that use a jump potion to be forced to complete and instance similar to the second boss in Bardam's Mettle before being able to enter DF so that they will be DF ready for most content. It doesn't have to be too hard, they just have to dodge X amount of attacks to clear. It could teach things like stacks, Bahamut towers and gazes etc.

That may very well be the case, but there is a difference between being lazy and just not knowing how to do something. And with how adverse the playerbase is to explaining mechanics and rather just insulting new players for not knowing them. This would serve to help any players that have used the potions to get used to the mechanics is a solo instance before they enter DF with any possible toxic players.

The Novice Hall window was the first thing that popped in my screen after I used a jump potion to get my alt to lv 60, though it was completely optional and I just brushed it off since it was my alt. The novice hall won't teach me about a lot of things though, a problem I've seen quite often is people not know what the stack marker is, or when to turn around and those things aren't really covered by anything, you learn by experience.

Obviously they cleared Heavensward and everything before it, why do they need this?

They could have used the MSQ potion to bypass Heavensward as well.

That being said, I have run into a few who have used the jump potions and actively ask for help. Others, don't say anything and try to faceroll everything. I do think the instance(probably make it optional) to teach the most commonly seen mechanics would be a huge help though for those that actually want to learn. Maybe even change the sprout to something else for those that went through the optional tutorial so people know they at least have a basic sense of what the mechanics are.
