As a minority, is it out of the question to hope for representation?

You can say, "I'd like even more.", sure, but you can't say "Doesn't count. Next."

Post your answer to the OP and see if it meets their concerns then - if you are so certain. I suspect though that you and I both know that the truth is that it does nothing of the sort.

1: OP is welcome to view my posts. As is everyone on the forums. This isn't an evidentiary hearing where things must be submitted formally or anything.
2: Yeah... likewise, I'm not on trial, here. If someone is not satisfied after reading what I posted... OK? Good for them. I honestly wouldn't expect them to be considering the topic is wanting 'More representation' and I was simply countering what was essentially a 'No representation' claim.
3: Why so snarky? I simply mentioned a prominent male Miqo'te and (lightheartedly at first) threw out that his plotline is referenced as part of the main story. You've been awfully aggressive the entire time since, which is, admittedly, making me more aggressive as well.

You asserted that a mention of a character by a side character in optional content is equivalent to their appearance, I said it's not. You've been snarky about it from the get go, and I have responded in kind.

The reference is not equivalent to an appearance.
I hold the story you dismiss as 'side-content' as being as relevant as the MSQ.
I (again, jokingly at first) used the reference to tie that story to the MSQ (since you've arbitrarily decided that's the deciding factor for character relevance).

The line itself doesn't make him relevant. The whole sodding quest-line does. Which may not be good enough for you, but whatever.
