Knowingly letting your house go, even if it was behind a paywall, was your own fault and letting SE know your grievances know in this manner is too little too late. Your excuse is, in all honesty, garbage. You explicitly knew it was going to happen, and let it happen. Because it was behind a paywall, you refused to resub. A noble sacrifice, but now that you knowingly paid for it, you should not have any beef about it. None. According to another post, it sounds like they sent emails regarding this change. I don't have a house, so I don't know nor have I bothered to check. If that's true, even more so your fault for letting it go. There could have been other issues in real life that prevented you from logging in, but it sounds like you just didn't like how SE was doing things and decided to not give them any money. Fair play. You can't blame SE when you threw the ball back in their court and they Michael Jordan dunked on you.
Please read the other 15 pages, it's good discussion.

I have right to both willingly let my house get deleted, and be angry at my deleted stuff. They had a system where housing was limited and ruining the experience of subscribing players. Lots of ways to deal with that (my preferred solution would have been instanced housing). They picked the path of least development and decided to put a time limit on housing activity. That's an awful, lazy solution, and goes directly against what they said they were going to do with housing by never associating it with a subscription. I'm not willing to give my money to developers who punish their players so severely for wanting (or needing) to take an extended break. All because they aren't willing to implement a proper solution.

And I can still be mad that they deleted my stuff. A majority of the gil I ever made went into that house. Hours of time, investment, and fun. And to toss it all in the garbage because of their lazy design - that's a horrific way to say goodbye to a player who subscribed to your game, for any length of time (about 540 days for me, in fact, including extra money spent on extra retainers), whether or not they would resub.
