If you're having trouble getting used to spamming one button for your combo, try placing the combo action 3 times on your hotbar to simulate the 1-2-3 feeling.
Like I said before, only the noobs and bads like this new pvp.
It's really fun. It's fast paced now and actually feels good killing getting kills and seems to emulate the fast paced thrill of FPS, which is what makes them so playable. But it isn't all perfect, imo they homogenized play styles too much and made the rank system 100% useless. There's very little reward now outside of the exp.

I have a feeling you're just salty Warrior got gutted and can't rip apart people anymore as some kinda dps with tank level hp and defense.

On topic- I never really pvp'ed much at all before, but decided to try it again in SB and it's been pretty fun actually, even if am just a filthy causal. I absolutely love the idea of separate pvp skills if for no other reason than that the devs don't have to butcher skills/entire classes while trying to shoe-horn them into both pvp and pve. In my MMO experience 'pvp balance' is one of the biggest issues interfering with pve balance and vice versa.

The button bloat reduction is ok.
But if you are giving us cookie cutters, at least do a proper job balancing. Because right now...
SE devs confirmed making out with ranged dps at night before going to bed.
Melee dps have that retarded resource gate on many of their impactful skills...while ranged dps have none of those barriers.
Need to stealth up to hit that BRD? Welp, too bad! You have to run into melee range first, hit them with Mug and autos before you can stealth...by which time they have knocked off half your bar, then bind you, move away, then continue to hit you -> dead.
8v8 and Frontlines are absolute nightmares for melees. It was bad before, now it's even worse.
GW2 has 10 skills (bar the profession-specific mechanic skills), yet we can choose what those 10 are. It has choices for stat distribution, set bonus, passives, etc. Sure, there are meta builds, but at least each profession has at least 2 viable builds to choose from. IF you don't care about metas, then you can at least customize to fit your play style.
If they can't allow this simple thing, it will be light years before PvP in this game is #espurtz. Seriously, it's too dumbed down and constrained. Even in MOBAs you have builds, this game has none lol.
My friends actually play Frontlines with me now though.
I very much prefer the new system for PvP abilities. Kudos to SE on this! My biggest complaint with pvp now is how difficult it is to target specific people.
Now, let's work on transitioning some of it to PvE as well.
