SE Team please read this thread

Could someone from the SE team please respond to this?

The thing is, I called the FF14 support line and they claim conveniently to have no control over transfers and that it is therefore not their problem. The game master in game told me there was nothing he could do and advised me to post in the forums to make my grievance known and when I called the general Square Enix line the receptionist refused to put me through to anyone to talk about it and said to call the FF14 support line, which as I mentioned earlier is throwing its hands in the air claiming it's someone else's problem.

The WTS is a separate service from the main game so consumer rights can't help me, the support team are just a buffer of apologists who can't actually help me and are not successfully giving the illusion of good customer service and the company itself remains silent on the issue.

Please, stop rewarding customer loyalty with indifference; give me an answer,

    Rufus

SE rarely reply on the forums so please don't hold your breath waiting for an official response, but as the person above said, they probably don't even know the answer themselves yet, so they really don't have anything to tell us.

I also have a friend who didn't transfer in time who is now cut off, but he has since transferred to another world in our datacentre and until they open transfers again he plays with us over party finder. It's not as convenient and he has to pay two transfer fees (one to where he is now and a future one to transfer to Omega as it's very unlikely to still be free when it reopens), but at least he can play with us. Suggest your friend considers doing the same? As long as he *doesn't* pick a preferred or new world, they'll only be locked to that new world for 3 days (not 90). Transferring gil across may be an issue if he has a lot, but then Omega will also likely have regular gil limits when the transfer becomes available again.

I'm sure SE will give us information when they actually know something, if nothing else it's in their best interests to open it as soon as possible so they can collect more transfer fees! They used to give us loads more information on their roadmap/plans, but every time things slipped/didn't work out as originally intended the NA/EU community as a whole took up pitchforks to them, so now they give us very little information until they're fairly sure about something, so I just don't see them even giving an approximation now. Happy to be proved wrong though...

Sorry, but we just need to be patient. Keep checking the launcher/lodestone!

    Hi mate,

My expectations are completely in check, I know what the company is like and I know that my argument is going to fall on deaf ears. I'm just looking at this in the context of a consumer rights issue; it's in the same ball park as pre-ordering games making the developers lazy, we keep giving money unconditionally and they keep walking all over us. The company is tip-toeing around the legislation that protects our interests and they know that our attitude, as you kindly demonstrated with your message, is that we'll just bend over and take it. Therefore while I understand that the odds are against me, I am trying to make an appeal to the company on principle, rather than hope.
