I'm one of those people that can play one or two days one week and then five days the next week. I can manage three daily roulette bonuses on my short weekends if I pay attention to the reset times. Add on the fact that one of days off on short weekends is maintenance night during the hours that I am awake which cuts my possible play time in half and it becomes very difficult to cap tomes and get anything else done in the real world.

With a cumulative cap, I could do my dailies on my short weekends and then finish the caps on my long weekends making it feel like less of a chore. I am greatly in favor of this type of system.

This is an old thread but I am replying to it because this idea occurred to me recently and several people I know agreed with me that it would be a good idea.

People point out that doing expert roulettes don't take up that much time, but even bearing this in mind I know a lot of people who don't always hit the cap for various reasons - forgetting, just not enjoying running the same dungeons repeatedly, going on holiday, unusually busy work times, being a new or returning player, etc. Plus some people who have limited time to play don't really want to spend 100% of their available time on one type of content.

I understand the argument that it's relatively easy to cap, but aside from this I don't see a good reason why allowing people to catch up if they missed a week shouldn't happen. It doesn't negatively impact anyone else in any way and doesn't seem like a function that would be particularly difficult to implement, so I hope that the devs will consider this for the sake of people who do miss out.

Even with slow parties it never took me more than 30min for an expert. And now people are starting to big pull them because of gear increase. I wonder what kind of deutsch
player you end with for this to take that long.

I never understood people getting upset at necro threads. If you look at any jp forums, they post in the same topic for years on end instead of making new ones every so often. I wish our forums were like that as well.

On Topic, I wish this were a thing too. I just recently went out of town for a week and came back. It's obnoxious that I can't make up for that lost time in any way.
