This is why I really liked Runescapes housing system, you had things like boxing arenas, and dungeons/bottom floors you could build some with mobs and could be built maze like with traps, ect. Would love to see more mini game type housing items that you could use for house parties. Granted Runescape houses were fully modular so you could design the floor plan for each floor.. which wouldn't work in XIV however more group activity things would be cool.

Aren't the only group activities(aside from dungeons/trials/raids/etc) Triple Triad and Verminion(even though those are only 1v1...maybe find a way to make them for more players at once)? Not really much else that I can think of really that you might be able to add to a house to be able to have group activities

Chocobo racing, maps, and hunts are all group content that isn't instanced (well, I guess maps are semi-instanced). They could just come up with new things, though.
