Why do you keep arguing, when it's obviously irrelevant to you?
The light stage has not been nerfed yet and since only SB content provides light, it's a pain to finish the last step.
I think you mean HW content. ( if Anima stage ) Light isn't a pain if you know how. ( finished 5 so far resuming recently ) There really is no need to nerf light people are just want things done easy. You can do it while doing WT , Alex is the fastest way if you raid. Just get your FC to help you or start a Light farming party. Depending on your server it can vary. Or Just wait it out. IF they do nerf it it probably won't happen until the new relic comes out or around the time were SB relic will end. Besides players who keep wanting to nerf relics are a pain to just read their complains. SE has really turned soft giving in. Relics are meant to be a grind. It's a reward as achievement, a weapon that solo players can do to avoid raids, ect. If you know anyone who played FFXI, they will tell you this relic is 1000x easier.

It is not asking for lights to be nerfed, it is asking for sands/umbirte to be nerfed like most threads (at least that is how I read the wording) and they been nerfed several times.
For lights after SB I would not really know because I never cared to try because it is not a big deal, it is an achievement/glam weapon, you have enough alternatives of hand me weapons to leave an achievement weapon alone at this point. The only "nerf" to lights I would possibly agree to is letting any 60-65 DF give them. Past 65 a i260 weapon has no business in being there.
Asking for the ability for a relic to be finished before hitting lv 70 is a BIG JOKE of a request, there is no reason for an achievement weapon to be hand me gear. What concerns me is none of your business, I care about principle. If achievements are ALL going to be hand me for doing nothing, why have them? why exist? makes no sense.
Oh sorry, I forgot to bring up, if you are commenting that based off my profile. I need post for someone because they can't due to forum name privacy. She has everything 60+, all crafting/gathering 70, along with 5 jobs at 70 with sam being the current project to 70. She notes she simply did not care about bringing her post SB relic to 275 because she simply thinks it is not important enough to care at the movement and worried about more important things and busy with other things. It is an achievement weapon, extra, not gating progress, you get an i270 weapon as hand me gear, isn't that enough?

No? 260 is not the umbrite stage.
The Zodiac weapon got nerfed after it had been irrelevant for a while, no reason that the Anima won't receive the same treatment.
"You need umberites/ sands for 260, I do not know what "anima 260 condensation stage" means. I commented based what it meant to me. For 2.0 relics, I do not even know what they did to nerf that, if it is really talking about lights how do they propose to nerf it? the TC is not clear."
Great idea, get other people to waste hours only to finish a glamour weapon.

What kind of argument is that?
And here you're wrong, because this isn't FFXI. Relics are only relevant during their expansion, SE is easing any previous content (i.e. XP bonus, echo), so the relic is no exception and asking to nerf the light step sooner rather than later is a legitimate request. Your argument is just irrelevant in the context of FFXIV.Relics are meant to be a grind. It's a reward as achievement, a weapon that solo players can do to avoid raids, ect. You have not justified the need to nerf them, it is an ACHIEVEMENT WEAPON, it does not GATE anything. you are handed i270 weapon, nerfing them is not a need. It does not matter what other games do or does not do, this is purely concept.Great idea, get other people to waste hours only to finish a glamour weapon.

If they wanted a nerf to lights, the request should been clearer and more detail, how do they propose they be nerfed? The wording was very vague and appeared it was talking about doing 240>260, not 260>270.
The light stage was nerfed by greatly increasing how much Light a run generated. The stage right at the end where you need to gather Light for the Atma stones, for example, each Atma can be completed with two unsynced Tam-Tara runs, a single run if the Light bonus window happens to grace you."You need umberites/ sands for 260, I do not know what "anima 260 condensation stage" means. Umbrites/sands is 240 step, not 260. 260 is running HW content over and over to generate aetheric density and power up your weapon to 270.
If I die, forgive me. I used to be a Dragoon.
To be fair, light parties do fill up pretty fast, at least in the Chaos datacentre. Sure, it may be glamour, but people do still do it. Now, I don't really have a foot in either side of the argument here (as in, I don't mind whether or not it does get nerfed), but I just wanted to point this out here.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
