    The whole thing is a troll; the fate and the mount itself... the fate, well it should be obvious as of why by now, people put up with it just to lemming the thing, and the mount itself.. it's just too large and flashy, weird, it's textbook immersion breaking. Great show.

    I dont see how a thunder unicorn breaks immersion when you have a giant lady of bliss sucking souls into their bosom and giant dragons that scorched the earth in the past.

    Ixion was added to the series in 2001. I'd hardly call his inclusion as a mount more immersion breaking than any of the primal horses or birds.
