I can't stand locked houses. It always makes me want to go snoop even more. I love wandering around the wards and poking through peoples houses. And I always love having guests show up at my house. Its fun to let others see and admire something you've worked so hard for.

Locked houses are the reason I wish instanced housing was a thing. They obviously want a home but not share it publicly, so why not just bump it off the map? My FC estate is not the same as how I would treat my personal home. A shame Ultros is so loaded that I can't get both. House parties are fun

Not necessarily. Houses are locked by default so it's possible players don't even realise it. Also some people keep it locked until they're finished decorating. I did that.
