*spoilers?* Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks urianger(sp?) is evil.

Urianger is strange in many ways anyway. Why did he get a new (and waaaaay better) Outfit for that double-Agent Part just to switch back to his lvl15 beggar outfit afterwards? Doesn't make sense. Is he famous in Japan or why does SE not touch him? Up until now every other scion got massive look-changes, Lyse even three times now. But Urianger still the same.

That said, I never saw Urianger as a real scion. He is more like a Ingenieur you visit before departing for a journey.

Based on what we know too much darkness you get the Void, too much light it's a barren wasteland purged of all life. It's possible he playing both sides to maintain/setup a balance.

I think this would be elidibus. But I would not be surprised if Urianger was assisting him to some degree.

Our running theory is elidibus has possessed gaius. He only showed up after we defeated (and thus weakened for possession) gaius. When he was talking to the emperor in the SB post credit scene and he took off his mask, the emperor said "how dare you". Why would he say this if it was urianger? More likely it was gaius, a garlean and the emperor's favoured to be his successor.

We've also seen urianger talking to elidibus before so they're definitely not one and the same, and pretty sure that was part of the warrior of darkness thing where he pretended to be on their side. I'm fairly sure urianger is a good guy.

He's probably turning evil because he's bitter the other scions always leave him behind, alone somewhere. Like how much time did he have to spend alone at Waking Sands after everyone else had moved to Revenant's Toll? And since then he's always the one being left out from everything.

What I did notice is thay removing the mask didn't get him into any good graces with the emperor. It is obvious from the beginning of their coversation that the emperor wanted nothing to do with him or what he had to say. As soon as he revealed whose body he had the emperor was even more unhappy with him. I get the feeling down the line the WoL and the empire are going to be working together the more I see scenes like that one with the emperor.

He can't be slated to turn evil at any point because he's the pickup point for a large number of optional lv50 quests such as coil and a number of ex primals. So, he always has to be able to be found in the basement of the Waking Sands.

He doesn't give off an evil vibe. He's a bit socially awkward and likes books more than people, but ultimately he cares about the Scions and especially the twins. Someone being a little odd doesn't make them evil.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Acians pose an existential threat to Eorzea. The Garleans, and their emperor should be smart enough to see that we are stronger standing together. So, yeah, I suspect that the WoL, Scions and Alliance will end up working with the Empire to defend against and defeat the Ascians.
