Not DF but in PF joined a Susano ex farm party on WHM, noticed the other healer an AST still had the new player status.
I say whatever and we start fighting notice the AST is using malefic 3 95% of time with an occasional AoE heal, I solo heal the entire 2nd phase and we get to the final phase the AST is still doing the same thing but I can solo heal it okay until we get to the third lightning phase where I get stunned and the tank dies do to getting no healing, other tank picks up and we continue until the 4th lightning phase and same thing happens but this time it ends up a wipe.
The AST then immediately tries to blame it all on me and they start claiming the tank was dieing when they were stunned when the tank died and I did not do any healing
At this point I ripped into this AST for trying to put the blame on me and we leave the fight the leader immediately kicks the AST and goes yeah they were doing 3.5k less HPS with the same over heal %.
Whenever i play RDM i take it upon myself to handle the raises until i can't anymore, it's much easier for me and it saves the healers a bunch of MP, and as a healer i generally appreciate it. What i've noticed is that it really doesn't matter if i do or not because, despite the very obvious Raise icon next to their name on the party list, they'll do their own, and it's often not the "oops we did it at the same time" kind of raise, it'll be like 5 seconds after, or they'll even hardcast it, and continue casting it as the person's getting up.
This doesn't happen when i play a healer, nobody wants to raise when i'm playing a healer, not even the other healer. I end up getting the majority of them. Or, they'll see i'm hardcasting one (as i just did one and swiftcast is on cooldown), and they'll wait until the very end of my cast to do their swiftcast raise, ensuring that we both get them off and both lose the MP.
I devoted a few hours to learning/farming Sophia today, with a few different party compositions. The most important thing I learnt is that it doesn't matter how many DPS you have if they're all eating floor, but I really should've known that today.
So, in one case, we had 6 DPS, a DRK, and a WHM. We wiped once due to an unfortunate series of events, and the DRK immediately ditched without a word. Seeing as how they got hit by the very first Thunder II, I don't think we missed a lot.
Some time later, I'm back in a regular party comp, which is struggling. At one point, I watched the SMN run to the edge in preparation for a tilt, adjust themselves... and promptly walk off the edge. I feel so bad about it, but I laughed myself so hard at that, and the icing on the cake was their character crying as they died. I have no idea why this was so funny to me.

Teamwork![...]
We wiped several times, but were lucky to have a great tank who took the time to explain the mechanics. Someone voted to abandon, but it was rejected. I had done my research on the fight, and was doing ok (the bombs were tougher than I thought); however, we lost 3-4 people every run to LS, including one (or both) of the healers.

Exactly. I couldn't help but pipe up if this was a gg, then I don't want to see the bad one x.x Longest clear ever haha.
This one isn't from the DF, but a funny tale from the open world.
I was casually seeing to my leveling near Onokoro, when I happened upon Oni Yumemi. I give the location a shout, then shortly after I see someone shouts some very similar coordinates to mine and nothing else. I figure, maybe my coordinates for Yumemi were a bit off, and I carry on with my stuff.
...only to come across a dead xaela rdm near a mob. I look at the xaela they say nothing, proceed on killing said mob and a few others for my quest, RDM is still silent as a grave. I figure something must have spawned next to them while they went afk and presumed them still afk, given their overall lack of cries for help.
So I start exploring the map for currents. Some coordinates are still being shouted in the chat, which I sort of assumed were for the hunt when, after like 15 minutes I see someone losing it in the chat, full caps lock and all: WHY WONT ANYONE RES ME, IM RIGHT HERE!!11
Remembering the HP impaired RDM, I make my way back to the site of their demise and swiftcast raise, only to have the following dialogue:
RDM: You're that dude that left me here 25 minutes ago
Me: Sorry, you weren't saying anything, I thought you were afk
RDM: No, I was here, staring at the screen, watching your back as you left
Poor guy had been the one shouting random coordinates the whole time.
Laughed so hard.

Levelup the "Social" Attribute.
RDM, please do believe me, that Attribute will help ya...
