As far as geography goes, any fantastical, otherworldly looking areas. These new areas in Stormblood are nice, but they are too earth like. I want something with strange skies and landscapes that don't exist on earth. I'm a big fan of space related things, so I know there are a lot of different planets with different weather, sky and terrain that we could try to replicate in game, or they could come up with some unique ones on there own. I just don't want anything that looks "normal" so to speak. Anything unique.

I'd like to see something untamed with basically no non-hostile NPCs. Quests can be given by objects or something.

Sharlayan/Thavnair/remainder of Othard, basically. I suspect they will be saving Meracydia and Garlemald for later usage. I am aching to see Sharlayan and I hope that it will be every bit as enchanting as it appears to be, and that they will break some boundaries when designing its zones.
I'd like to see some of the Hingashi mainlands, for now, and especially a proper Raen settlement that isn't sui no sato.

I would like to see the New World, but I have a feeling it won't be the next expansion.
Zone wise, we have yet to visit a lush jungle or a mountainous pine forest not in the winter.

Mighty Garlemald. Metal and tech. Rivers of concrete and walls of glass.

I would like to finally get to Thavnair next. What little we've gotten seems to indicates it's a very tropical region that's almost pushing Sharlayan levels of high-society. A lush jungle region surrounded by water with an emphasis on art and science sounds like it could be a fresh new zone to explore.
Otherwise I want to dip further into Othard, particularly that desert-ish looking region West of the Azim Steppe and Yanxia called "The Burn," and that volcanic area in Eorzea that's supposed to be the homeland of the Hellsguard Roes.
Why haven't we been there, yet?

They already decided which regions will appear in 5.0 and 6.0 (6.0 is Ilsabard/Garlemald). But for 5.0 I hope we go to the New world continents and the area west of Othard where Rabanastre (and maybe Thavnair). If now the Rabanastre area then maybe Old Sharlayan (with Aerslaent as an area to visit) because we need more roegadyn lore.
They surprised us in stormblood with adding Othard, adding the New world could happen

I'd like to go to Garlemald. I'm sick of fighting them. The description of the region suggests that this is a potentially enticing target for Elidibus if he is aiming for a repeat of the Ultima weapon, with the added benefit of having his enemies be left with the check for starting reality's impeding doom.
