My idea:
Why does the Wyvern have to add damage? Cant it be a semi passive pet? Maybe it provides a party buff while out, or perhaps it does the weaponskills FOR the dragoon.
Who says it has to attack with the dragoon?

So it would just totally trash the lore for even less reason.. I so see the point in that. /facepalm
A DRG should be seen a Dragon killer in XIV, it fits with the lore and fits with a lot of other FF's, its a win win situation.
Also most people seem to be against it... So why should it happen? really?
most people were for Auto attack and we have to put up with that as the ones who didn't want it dumbed down and made less interactive...
Fair is Fair.. really, just get over it![]()

Totally trash the lore? All the lore we have is that Ishgard, the city we can't access, or even interact with, fights dragons... Oh btw we won't get Ishgard until 2.0, after seventh umbral era.So it would just totally trash the lore for even less reason.. I so see the point in that. /facepalm

Also I think a lot of people who voted no in the poll were voting not to have a wyvern like FFXI, aka a pet that follows, attacks, and can be killed. That's not the same as having something like dragon-based weaponskill.
