    Well when one has to wait 45 or more minutes for a dungeon (or fight) that is part of MSQ as example that is just horrid
    And no the answer is not "there is a thing called pf" or just go with a healer or tank friend, that is really not the point.
    There also should not have been 2 dps this expansion, it helped nothing

    Make tank and healer friends It's why I decided to tank first to help my friends out. I'm doing healer second. People who say this doesn't help, it does. The whole point of this online game is to interact with other people, finding people of like mindsets, joining raid groups, joining FC groups....

    That being said when I have queued as a solo DPS I didn't find the waits that long at all, but I normally queue during "busy" times.

    Wouldn't help as much as you might think. There isn't really a lack of tanks or healers. There is a lack of tanks and healers willing to tank/heal with random people.

    As a tank, same for me, theres just no incentive at all. I only do expert, trial, MSQ if I need poe and front lines. Its just not worth the hassle of potentually getting bads and taking 30+ mins to complete for such a small reward.

    What I've been wondering for quite some time is;

    Why doesn't the development team change the party requirements from tank, healer and 2 dps to tank, healer and 3 dps? Sure it includes adjusting already existing 4-player content to become 5-player content, but instead of adjusting the strength of enemies, they should just have slightly higher HP? Yes? No?

    To be fair in an interview with PlayStation Access just before the release of Stormblood SE actually said that they didn't think it would be an issue because people who already play the tank or healer class aren't likely to change because they already enjoy that class type.

    I'm the same, I got back into FF14 with Stormblood after being an SCH and went straight into PLD knowing full well about SAM/RDM.

    Now bring along another tank class and I'd try that out, but DPS doesn't interest me.

    The rewards right now for queuing as tank or healer are tenable at best. I have my main tank class and all the healers at 70, and these are reasons I might go into the roulettes:

    1. Creation tomes (very easily capped)
    2. Materia IV (1-2 runs for new OxS equips)
    3. Helping a friend

    That's it.

    I've healed and tanked my way through some bad, bad parties. People are rude, and I'm pretty tired of getting the same 3 dungeons over and over, too.

    I really don't think the current incentives are enough.

    Pre-70, Leveling Roulette has awesome rewards. Large chunk of XP, guaranteed piece of gear if you land in a 51-59 or 61-69 dungeon? Sign me up.

    Also, hitting the AiN bonus is a pretty chunk of change too, esp at Lv70. All-in-all, it's like 16k for a run + free VI materia.
