You can. I had a try myself of POTD cross-realm since my friends were on Odin and me Louisoix. We were able to create and queue as a fixed group no problem. So don't worry about that. .

They told me you couldn't cross realm it but i'll have to try and talk to them about it after i get home.

I do appreciate the help. Sorry i started this off rather frustrated but my experience with the company in the last 3 days has been less then stellar.

And i am glad to see the community is still very friendly and helpful as it was 3-4 years ago when i last played.

I'm confused on this too.

I've created new characters to test before using Fantasia potions and while it does auto choose a server, you have the option to change that before you actually begin.

Mine didn't, i logged in and it tossed me straight into character creation after i selected a data center it didn't give me an option to pick a server.
But at the time i didn't mind where i went since i knew you couldn't create on congested but could transfer to it. at least i thought til i seen mogstation give me that giant 90 day message.

Earlier you couldn't, but with 4.0 (Stormblood launch), they changed it.

Players can now recruit a cross-world party to enter the Palace of the Dead.
*When registering to enter, all party members on all Worlds must be in the South Shroud.

the cross realm for POTD were added recently from what i know, maybe that is why they though it wouldn't be possible o.o but it is =)
