This is the same argument against Coil raids that resulted in the current normal/savage paradigm, now that's not good enough? You get to experience the story but now you wanted access to the savage fight?
You'll be able to unsync it and do it in 5.0. So you can wait and do it then, or you can find a group and do it on content now.

As he stated, his post is just that. An opinion. The real question is, do we care?![]()

I'm sorry but I just find it funny he's been here since 1.0, 6 years, and this was his last straw lol.
Couldn't disagree more, give the Savage groups something really cool to look forward to...they got rid of the story locked behind raids...let them have somethingLocking a unique fight such as Neo Exdeath behind Savage was, in my opinion, a poor move.
It might be an unpopular opinion, but it's my opinion nonetheless.
I would have liked to see a normal mode version of Neo Exdeath. Most people aren't going to do Savage fights and thus will never experience the arena or music firsthand. Only through a youtube video.
I liked what they did with A8S, with an additional phase and a slightly augmented boss model to go along with it. Introducing an entirely new fight with a new boss model etc in the Savage version just goes a little too far.
IMO.
Farewell, official forums. Only came here to voice my opinion.

There IS a normal mode it's called O4. The point of this is that it's the same if not harder difficulty as savage, so if you can't do savage why would you want to do this?

Just so we understand the complaint, O4S has an extra phase that does not have an equivalent in O4. It has a sort of cutscene before it which is pretty cool, hence the complaint.
...but Midas had a similar thing as well, so this isn't the first time.

Right, won't be the last time either more than likely. My point is, what's wrong with that, the game is tailored to common players as it is and there is more than enough content available. I don't see anything wrong with rewarding hard work. I don't pvp, it's not something I care for in this game, but I'll never complain that I can't get <insert mount name here> or anything else because i don't do the content.

...So they nerf the difficulty of Savage through the damn floor so that practically anyone with half a braincell can down it, and people are still crying because of "gated content" and small little "exclusives" like this?
I swear on all that lives. I have seen more entitlement in these forums since the drop of this tier than all other tiers put together. ._. What more do people want? :/ When super savage drops, the ONE FIGHT IN THE GAME that is supposed to be difficult for the "1%", people will cry because that is "gated content" and they don't "have access to it".
Like it or not, people that actually ENJOY a challenge and like being rewarded for their actual work and effort DO make up a significant portion of the playerbase. Give the rewards to the masses that just "don't want to do it" and our effort goes out the window. It means nothing. You people get catered to enough. At least let the "upper tier" have SOMETHING. If they can't have a damn cutscene or an extension of a pre-existing fight... imagine how you would feel if that's all you had. You'd probably lose interest in the game pretty fast. Just like the "upper tier" of players does, because things are so damn easy now.
TL;DR: You want it? Get your buddies and go WORK for it. Savage is braindead easy now. You wanted it that way.
