Dragoon Poll (Should DRG have a Wyvern?)

Yes, I don't expect to be friends with Ishgard if I have a wyvern hanging around me. lol :x It would be very interesting if the rogue Dragoons who chose to keep a wyvern weren't allowed in at all (while on that job). Perhaps not "fair" but it would make for interesting lore. :3

I wonder though... if Ishgard will be destroyed and become a ruins or something similar in 2.0.
We know they have big plans for Ishgard.. I keep wondering how drastically Ishgard might change in the future. Though that has little to do with the topic of Dragoons having wyvern pets... unless at some point Ishgard feels they need wyverns and is forced to work with them for protection or something. Doubtful, but I can't help but wonder what will become of Ishgard in 2.0.

Also, slightly related topic: Yoshida-san spoke of possible dragon people. I wonder.. would Ishgard have to befriend dragon-kind then? To let those people in? Or perhaps they would be enemies? :3

from the snipets of information i have heard they have big plans for ishgard and these big plans are for players to take part in. they said the reason we are not getting ishgard till after 2.0 is coz. with this game engine we are restricted to less than 50 players on screen. and their plans are much bigger than that. i don't know what they are, if i had to guess i bet its got something to do with killing dragons and who knows maybe that will be the release of bahamut primal (but i'm getting ahead of myself there) my main point is do you want to be locked out of this major content, just so you get a wyvern?

I don't think SE would lock anyone out actually. I would find it interesting if we could be locked out of certain things(like areas) because of lore.. but I just don't think SE would. Especially because they've mentioned dragon-people. They seem to like to make things fair for everyone.
But to answer, if having a wyvern would lock me out of that area while on Dragoon, I wouldn't want the wyvern any less. I would still choose that path.

And I do wonder, if Ishgard still stands after 2.0, if they will have to befriend dragon-kind if SE adds a dragon race because SE probably wouldn't want to lock them our of anything. Perhaps they'd add to the lore.. a truce between them.
I'm not saying this is what I want obviously. lol I'm just thinking of possibilities of Ishgard and Dragoons in the future.
